All Saints' Church

Church Street, West Lavington

All Saints Church is a fine, ancient building – part of the Church of England, in the Diocese of Salisbury and Deanery of Devizes. However it is much more than just a BUILDING, it is also the PEOPLE who regularly worship there.

The Rector (Vicar) is Rev. James Campbell. He is also responsible for the parishes of Market Lavington, Easterton, Great Cheverell and Little Cheverell. James lives at The Rectory, 14 Church Street, Market Lavington SN10 4DT with his wife Mary and their four children. He works from the Benefice Office – at the back of the Rectory – and is very happy to be contacted to discuss Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals and any other matter. James can be contacted on 01380 816963 or or just come and ring the door bell – as long as you don’t mind being greeted by two over-friendly dogs!

James is assisted across the five parishes by Rev. Ann Cocking and by Bob Young. Key figures in West Lavington Church include Bonnie Matters and Bob Giles (Churchwardens).

Nearly every Sunday morning there is a service at 9.30am but it is wise to check ‘News & Views’ (see
THE HUB page) or Church notice-board. Special services and events take place at Christmas, Easter, Harvest, Remembrance Day etc; There is an active choir, Sunday School meet twice a month and we always have coffee after each main service. Opportunities also exist for those wishing to explore the Christian Faith.
